Privacy Policy

The short version

Hindi Sikho collects no data. None. The app runs entirely on your device, works fully offline, shows no ads, and makes no network calls beyond the pictures, fonts, and code that ship inside the app itself. There are no accounts, no logins, and no trackers.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal or non-personal information about you or your child. We do not use analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services.

Information stored on the device

To remember your child's progress (which letters are learned, stars, stickers, streak and scoreboard), the app saves that progress in local storage on the device only. This information never leaves the device, is never sent to us or anyone else, and is removed if you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Permissions & network

The app bundles all of its content (pictures, fonts, and code) and does not require an internet connection to run. It uses your device's built-in text-to-speech voice so the parrot mascot, Mittu, can read Hindi aloud; this speech happens on the device and no audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Children's privacy (COPPA / Families)

Hindi Sikho is designed for children learning Hindi. Because the app collects no data at all, it is compliant with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Google Play Families policy, and GDPR/GDPR-K. There is no behavioural advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no data collection from children or anyone else.

Third parties

We do not share data with third parties because we do not collect any. The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics libraries.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
